I started this blog when I was creating art for a living so the earlier posts have images of my work and process.
I post a lot of pictures about adventures in Utah and the Southwest. We moved here in 2005 after living in the Seattle area for 25 years. We ski and hike and camp and work and garden and play with Max, the Australian shepard that shows up on these pages. Our kids come to visit often. Erin’s living in Brooklyn. Patrick splits the year living summers in Montana and winters in Utah.
I recently started a business as a hypnotist, using hypnosis as a tool for change in people’s lives. Sometimes I write about that as well.
The search engines bring people looking for information about road trips, camping, hiking, and roadside attractions. By far the page with the most hits is the one about the World’s Largest Dog Head which is in Huntsville, Utah. I should make an annual pilgrimage there to commerate that Saint Bernard that makes my blog so popular. I suspect that the googlers are kids doing a report for school—not so many hits when school is out.
That’s the story of my blog. I don’t write every day. Not even always sure what the point of it all is. It’s kind of fun. Today it’s my procrastination tool to avoid raking leaves, that’s valuable!
